Re-plant your fake plants! Doesn’t matter that they have no roots, because we are going for making fake plants look real.
STEP 1
Buy a small bag of soil and after you replant your faux plant, add some SOIL to the top. If you simply add real soil on top of the fake soil the plant immediately looks real.
STEP 2
If you put an artificial plant in a spot in a room that is dark or away from a window, won’t it kinda look fake? Put that plant it in a spot where it might actually grow if it was a real plant.
STEP 3
Plant life can be lonely. Add in 1 or 2 REAL plants (try real succulents or cacti – they’re the most hardy plants) next to your faux plant. The mix makes it work.
STEP 4
RULES TO REMEMBER:
Rule #1: odd numbered groupings brings balance.Rule #2: A pop-O-color in an outfit is a fashion guideline that works for home decor, too.

Rule #3: Think perfectly imbalanced. By adding a mix of things, like trending glass terrariums, chic gardening books, chic little vases or a framed photo of something you took in nature.

– Hanging glass vases with small plants against a window adds a delicate and chic charm to the space – just remember not to hang too many vases and follow the rule of odd numbers.
DECORATING IDEAS:
– Use natural accents like shells/pine cones/twisted branches/etc… for all the plant feels.– Arranging different size pots looks relaxed and on-trend.
DECORATING IDEAS:
– Add interest to a wall by installing floating shelves along with as many potted plants as the space will take.– Use natural accents like shells/pine cones/twisted branches/etc
Enough of woefully whispering “don’t die” or “pleeeeeease grow” to plants. Faux plants are the way to GROW <wink>…
