Sunday, September 9th is the day. Its come. The new “Shops at Target” have arrived. I was pretty excited about this because the last shops were really great! The new four collections, or shops, are a range of women’s clothing, mens clothing and housewares. Kirna Zabete, The Curiosity Shoppe, Odin and Patch NYC have arrived.
Of course I was first drawn to Kirna Zabete’s collection – although there werent many items to choose from at my local Target. The online selection was about five times as large as what was available in stores. The Kirna Zabete collection is Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini’s chic Manhattan store. The high style collection and the bold prints are so-much-fun. Love the prints and the silky material on both the clothing and the accessories.
I’m still very curious about the Curiosity Shoppe (pun intended) as most of the merchandise was gone by 9am when I arrived. I guess the early bird gets the worm – should have remembered this from the Missoni mess from last year. From what I did see, the items were cutesy and fun – fresh ideas on a nostalgic theme. Fabulously trendy stuff. The Curiosity Shoppe is in San Francisco’s Mission District… and now at Target for a limited time.
Overall I LOVE that Target does these unique shopping ideas like the shops or the Go International lines – its really clever and it opens up the shopping world to us. Learning about local and popular shops all across the country is amazing – its like bringing a little piece of shopping heaven right to your local Tar’get.
What shop are you the most excited about checking out?
Ok – time to shop!
