Do it.  Do the "Dip & Dye" - you will love it.   Yes, this is the ombre that we all know and love.  However, please don't mistake it with the sorta sad tie dye of the 1960's or the messy tie-dye from our basements during our middle school years.  This has come a long way, baby!
