If you want to quickly Google, “What the Heck is Fair Trade” – hold up. Wait a minute. Essentially Fair Trade means that any products you purchase that are certified “Fair Trade” let you know that the products were made with respect to people and planet. More specifically, that means that they were made in safe, healthy working conditions. The products do not hurt the environment. It empowers communities to build strong, thriving businesses. Seems so simple – but is SO big. When you choose products with the Fair Trade label, your day-to-day purchases can improve an entire community’s day-to-day lives.

When fashion is fair trade it makes it that much more splurge worthy. This bag combines style with a great story.
I find that fair trade products are usually much prettier than factory made. That clutch is quite cute with those pompoms.
Loving that clutch! I also enjoy learning about new fair trade companies, so thank you for sharing this one! I’ll be traveling to Mexico this year and hope to visit Tulum. Making a note to check out Boutique Mexico when I am down there!

That pom pom clutch bag is adorable, just wish it had a strap (but then it wouldn’t be a clutch). Totally love that it’s fair trade too.
This is adorable. I love the poms. My favorite coffee shop has a fair trade market inside. It is fun to shop while I wait for my drink. Love the post, we need to be as supportive as we can.
Fair Trade really is very important to our world and cultures. Thank you for spreading the word about it! And your clutch bag is super-cute, too!
It’s awesome that the company that makes this stuff is so empowering. I went to a store just like that. Makes spending easier.

I love everything locally sourced and/or fair trade! We try to do as much shopping as possible this way! You really have to pay attention but it is so worth it in my opinion!
I love to work with fair trade companies. It really puts my mind at ease to know that the people who need the money the most are actually getting it.
This is so cool! I think it’s definitely great to be more knowledgeable about where you buy things from. Your cat is so adorable too fyi!!! 😀
I definitely agree that Fair trade is very important. Like you, I try to support when I can, especially via fashion. That clutch is so cute. Thank you so much for sharing!
I have seen so much about fair trade products, but wasn’t exactly sure on the term. I like buying products that are made with the environment in mind.
Wow that clutch with pom poms is so gorgeous. What an educational post dear. So glad you clarified what fair trade means.
I am absolutely in love with everything! I adore products and totally support brands with great cause behind them. We have one too many mainstream products in the market that doesn’t have any “story” behind them except to make money. I want to be able to make a difference while I am shopping for some stuff that I or my family will need. Thank you for sharing!
I will wholeheartedly support a cause like this especially if it helps provide jobs for people all over the world. Fair trade fashion is definitely something that we should all be part of, it promotes a lot of good things from jobs to being kind to nature.
