SensatioNAIL

Latest and greatest obsession.  Actually, almost like a little piece of heaven.  Ok… so I am saying many thanks to the Nail Gods for this amazing nail product.

A little something you should know – I pretty much always need to have my nails done.  I just think it looks …well….”polished” and really pretty.  So, with that being said and with my budget a little tight right now, I need to do my nails myself.  No trips to the salon or the many nail shops around town.  Its all on me.  Awesome.

Actually, its not a big deal to me to do my own nails.  What makes me cray cray is doing my nails every other day since the polish chips or smudges or just gets unshiny.  I feel like I am becoming OCD with my nails.  I have better things to do.

So, when I heard of many amazing stores like Sephora creating their own at-home shellac type of product I was over-the-moon.  This is great.  Now…back to my budget.  The cost of the Sephora machine was not.going.to.happen.  <insert sad face>.  Back to the drawing board.  Google, here I come.  It all started with lots of suggestions from friends and online peeps for a “long wear” nail polish – only to find out that its not really long wearing.  How could they tease me like that?  Unless “long wearing” means 10 hours.

Then I saw a post by a friend of mine singing the praises of SensatioNAIL.  It was the shining moment.  I had read about this product but not until I saw a friend sing the praises of this did I actually purchase it.  It’s available at CVS, Walmart and coming soon to Target stores – you can pick one up right now.  I actually ordered mine online because it was cheaper by using an online coupon code.  Search on Retail Me Not for a code.  I saved about $15 from a code and it was free shipping.  Perf.

The kit is amazing.  Here is why I love it:

1.  Its SUPER easy to do. Instruction chart and instruction sheet and pictures.

2.  Uses a LED light (no bad UV light – Hallelujah!)

3.  Although it does cost more than 1 bottle of nail polish, it will last you ~10 manicures which is a great price when you break it down.  The cost for the starter kit is approximately $50.

4.  Each cost of polish costs around $8.  Perfect!

5.  As soon as its “cured” with the LED light, its dry.

6.  Lasts around 11 days.  Yes, you read that right.

7.  Shine.  Its shiny every-single-day.  Shiny.  How is this even possible?

And I could go on with about a million other reasons why I am obsessing with this new product, but I’ll stop with super seven reasons to keep it short and give you more time to get out and hit your local CVS.

You need to get the Starter Kit.  This includes the following necessary items:

All of the polish items you need (top coat, base coat, etc…), plus a color.

And while online with my coupon code, I added this cutey pinky color to use for future options for my manis.

Here are the final results – and this is from day 9.  Looking amazing.  Shiny!  I’m still in disbelief.  And in love.
