Question: Why is it a challenge to find that chic factor while also working into a hip “Pottery Barn” aesthetic into my home decor? I love you, Target, but…
I totally lucked out when I learned of Relics of the Rustbelt in my hometown of Cleveland. These items are shabby chic times 10. Its that “gritty beauty” that draws me in.
I fell-in-love with this lamp. I saw it and knew that I “needed” it. My house would be incomplete without it. Know what I’m talking about?
See what I mean?
Here is where I styled the lamp. A place of honor. What do you think?
And when I turn on the lamp at night…. ohhh…. so fancy.
Look what else Relics of the Rustbelt creates…
And <swoon>…. homemade candles. It’s like they are reading my mind. Bonus points for NAMING them after Cleveland streets.
Shop local. Support the crazy amazing talents of those around you. If you live in Cleveland – you must/must/must check out Relics of the Rustbelt. And at the very least, we ALL need to show some love via social media on Facebook here and on Twitter here. Pop by their website to see all the “I need that” items here.
These items are beyond. Take a peek here. I’m kinda obsessed. Don’t be surprised if my house adds a dozen new items from Relics of the Rustbelt…because they are just-that-cool. Want a unique item for your home? Here’s where you need to shop. And you’re welcome. Happy shopping!
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post, however I did receive a product for my review. All opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
I love shopping and supporting locals! Such crazy talent!

Ah I’m decorating the house and I love all of this!! Fabulous job my dear!
That lamp is SO fun and different! I’m also totally on board with supporting local businesses. You have to put in what you want out of your community! I love that you’re such a big proponent of doing this. Also, local shops always have fun, interesting finds that larger stores may not be able to buy since they’re tailoring their products to mass markets. Your home looks so amazing! Awesome job.

This shop looks amazing! I love all of the great, unique pieces. And I love supporting and shopping in my community and sharing the love with brands and businesses that are local. Great post! XO

Thank you again for your post! I wanted to also let people know that we will be in Columbus on October 10th at the Moonlight Market. If anyone is in the area, stop by and say hi!
Very rustic and charming at the same time! I do adore that lamp, so I understand why you “needed” it lol!

Loving the decorations. I have to admit I’m not the best at decorating the whole house but in my defense, when I moved in with my boyfriend the house was already fully decorated so I didn’t have too terribly much to do. Thanks for sharing with us 😉 xx, adaatude.com
LOVE finding fun and trendy styles that dont cost a fortune and shop local!
Love the rustic glam look, these are such pretty pieces!

I have the same problem of mixing modern with the homie feel Pottery Barn has but right now I just use what I have since it is my first adult apartment!! I LOVE that it is a local store! I wish I had more local options!!
Great post!!

That lamp was a great find and I can see why you had to have it, it works perfectly on that table. I LOVE your artwork though, where did you find that?
How cool! I love the look of refurbed items. My boyfriend and I have been refurbing items and building furniture from scratch. I love the look of new/old items but it can get pricey!
This place looks awesome and right up my alley! I LOVE that lamp! Like I want to sneak into your house and ‘borrow’ it when you’re not looking, hehehe. Between this, your food rave posts, and the summer flea market, you’re making me want to move to Cleveland! 🙂
Gorgeous pieces. I’m really wishing I could smell those candles through my computer, though! As much as I love Target, it’s always nice to a) support a local business and b) get something that you know you’re not going to see on EVERYONE else’s instagram haha. Great find!
that lamp is really rustic and cool!! looks like a great place to shop. great find 🙂
