Is the road to your heart paved with paw prints? Is it not a home without furry friends? Will you NOT adjust your sleeping position because you’d feel bad since your pet is asleep on you? Do you miss your pet(s) like crazy when you’re not with them?
Pets. They teach us about love.
Let me ask this: How many photos do you have of your pet on your phone right now? A million? Maybe 2 million? Ok, you get the picture (pun intended). But… do you have even 1 photo done professionally?
I’m just gonna say it. Professional photos of our pets will be cherished forever. It’s true.
I just took my Moxie kitty to the Kim Ponsky Studio for professional photos of her! What an purrrrrrrrfect adventure!

Let’s take a journey through this pet photography process…
1. Checking out the studio… a little wary of her new environment.

2. Setting up the location with a blue backdrop to compliment Moxie’s blue eyes.

3. Getting the model (aka Moxie kitty) onto the backdrop

4. Quality time between Kim (photographer) and Moxie (model)

5. Dozens and dozens and dozens of photos being taken to ensure the perfect images are captured!

6. Kim editing the images.

And (drum roll please…..) VOILA… I mean… this-is-magic.

This is so cute! I don’t think I could get my 100 lb lab to sit for this!

You totally could get that to happen! 🙂
Ahha! I love this! I have a cat identical to yours – and those blue eyes, I can’t get enough of! I absolutely LOVE taking pictures of my animals too. I haven’t seen many studio images, but more family and at home ones. So fun!!
Thanks! Love those blue-blue eyes! 🙂
What a great idea! I doubt my dogs would sit still for ti, but I might have to try. Thanks for documenting the process!
Maybe your dogs would surprise you! 🙂
This is so cute!! I don’t have any pets myself but this is a wicked cute idea!!
Isnt it so fun and cute?!
Such a fab idea! I don’t have pets but if I had a dog or cat I would be totally up for this!
Thanks! 🙂
Really interesting blog post – The images came out stunning and this is a great piece!
I am SO SO SO Loving how the images turned out… thanks for stopping by! 🙂
HOW adorable!!! Your cat is beautiful 🙂
aw…thanks! 🙂
Oh my goodness…you’ve convinced me. I have two take my two little fur babies to get their pictures taken! That picture is so beautiful! I’m just curious if my little ones will sit still long enough. Cosmo loves to pose, but Lanie is a little camera shy. I’m sure this is something photographers are used to. Thanks so much for sharing!
Its amazing to me that my kitty got some AMAZING final photos because as you can see in my post – she was VERY wiggly and wanted to leave! If you’re in Cleveland you need to see Kim Ponsky, she is fabulous!
Love this – how adorable!!!! You should SEE the pics I take of my two dogs (not too great)!!!! Ha ha ha
ah….that is too funny! You should get a professional photo taken! 🙂
Oh my gosh. I just LOOOOVE the way the photo turned out!

I’m not much of a pet person, but my husband always used to take pictures of our cats (who are no longer with us). He misses them a lot, and occasionally a cat picture is the background on his laptop, I know he would have loved something like this!
AH came out perfect! She sure can work those eyes 😉
You cat is so beautiful! She’s the perfect model for a professional photo shoot and totally deserves it! I love how they turned out…her eyes are gorgeous! What a fun way to celebrate your kitty and get some awesome pics in the process! 🙂
The photos turned out fantastic! Love this!

What a beautiful cat!!! Great photo as well 🙂 I’m hoping to do some photos of my furbabies once we get settled in to our new house. I think only one of my three will probably actually sit for long enough lol. Can’t wait to see others she took! xo Liz http://www.4evermysweetpea.com
