Today is National Wear Red Day! What does that mean… besides wearing an amazing, bold color? It means that by wearing red we are showing our support for Go Red For Women and American Heart Month.
Facts about Heart Health:
– Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of all Americans, causing roughly one out of every three deaths in the U.S. each year.
– Since 1984, more women than men have died as a result of heart disease.
– Heart disease kills more women each year than all forms of cancer combined.
– Every 25 seconds, someone has a coronary event.
– Every 39 seconds, someone dies from heart disease or stroke.
– 2,200 people die every day from heart disease
I LOVE seeing the support for Women’s Heart Health! I chose to wear red with some sparkly Sorrelli jewelry – a little bling is never a bad idea.
Did you wear red today?
