The designer rocks it out in more ways than one.

Meg Musick-Makely, the artist, has “Music” in her name, literally. A former professional dancer, she has always been inspired by song and has thing for good leather. She sought to combine those two great loves, creating custom leather goods with a music-inspired twist. She handcrafts pieces from exotic skins like crocodile, stingray, and python, infusing luxury with her rock-inspired esthetic.

While drawing her patterns one day, she got the idea to try tracing them on one of her many album covers (you know, those were before iTunes…before downloads…..before CD’s… before 8-tracks… are you still with me?) and created a shoe made out of an album cover!

Here’s the real “rockin‘” part of what you’ll love…. how eye-catching are her luxurious line of custom leatherwork?  Shoes, bags, belts…accessories… all made from leather and exotic skins.
