Does anyone need a little assistance in creating the ultimate display of appreciation and affection this May 8 for Mother’s Day? I’m including myself in this cool club of individuals because although we ALL know that shopping for women is a piece of cake in comparison to shopping for men, it’s still quite a little challenge upon us. Flowers for Mother’s Day.
What can we get to show our love/support/admiration/appreciation/thanks/everything-else-under-the-sun? Tricky, tricky. And how can mom feel super special by what we bring to the table?
Ah – a clue. Bring to the table. Yes – that’s it! Bring something (literally) to the table. Flowers are that gift that we don’t often purchase for ourselves (too many other bills…Boo…Sigh…) but a beautiful item that we all love-love-love. Flowers look gorgeous…they smell amazing…they light up a room. This is the no-brainer gift for mom.
If you are a dad or a daughter or a friend or a companion and want to WOW a certain someone – flowers are your answer.
Not just any flowers. Time to upgrade our gifts for mom.
FTD takes out all that “How do I do this?” stuff and lets you be the coolest person on the planet. They deliver a gorgeous bouquet of flowers (already assembled/in the vase/looking fab/no way to mess this up) to make Mother’s Day memorable.
First – Order the flowers HERE.
Next... Get brunching. Gather some yummmmmy recipes HERE (Waffle bar? Puff pastry egg? Fruit pastries? Can’t decide – but all these recipes are HERE.) and get to it. Flowers on the table, brunch (LOVE brunch for breakfast, lunch and dinner…anyone else?) prepared with a “Martha Stewart” magazine cover of a table will not only make for the best-Sunday-ever….but mom will feel like that rock star that she is. Mission accomplished.
Want some ideas on how to prep the table? Looking for some inspiration? Happy to help! I took a few photos to guide you on how to showcase your FTD flowers and arrange your table for the ideal day. A little plates (my faves HERE) and a little vintage and fab finds and you are set.
BONUS: After brunch, the flowers keep giving! Mom can move them to a side table in the dining room or a pretty table in the kitchen to enjoy for days and days and days to follow!
And…another fabulous idea is to display these flowers with some fashion books on a coffee table.
Flowers – in gorgeous shades of pink – are THE way to make mom feel super pretty, loved and appreciated. The vibes of flowers during a brunch … the dozens of ways to display them afterwards … make purchasing a luxury bouquet the way to go. Hello – it’s mom. Definitely spend a tiny bit more with the FTD Luxury Line. So worth the extra (as you can see from my photos) – they are (quick take a photo/post to Instagram) stunning!
SHOP this exact bouquet along with more Mother’s Day gifts!
*I loved partnering with FTD for this post! xx
That arrangement is gorgeous. I get my mom flowers for Mother’s Day every year. She loves getting them.
I also LOVE this bouquet, Robin! Flowers are the best!
Great idea for mother’s day, having a pretty environment makes you feel so much better and flowers always make me smile!
Flowers always make the environment so much more fab, Lauren! 🙂
This would be perfect for my mother-in law. My mom is allergic to flowers or I would pick up a bouquet for her as well. So pretty!

Yes, Ana – flowers are amazing all year! I try to keep some fresh ones in my house a lot!
I’ve sent flowers via mail a few times to family in the UK (I’m in the USA) and it’s always a nice surprise for them. Flowers are a great way to just say ‘thinking about you’. THose are the best, no reason needed.
Di, I totally agree! Flowers are the perfect idea for any occasion. I’d love to randomly just get some flowers delivered to me! That would make anyones day!
I will take flowers any day. They add so much more to a room! These are stunningly beautiful.
I love flowers too, Rachel! They cheer up any room!
I love the bouquet but I find the vase pretty boring. I’m one of those who looks at both the vase and the flowers before ordering. I’m going to see what else they have in stock.
The bouquet of pinks is stunning, Amanda. I actually love the simplicity of this vase since the flowers are such a statement, but vases are also part of the style so you should find something that speaks more to you. Luckily FTD has a mil choices!
Right, that’s mother’s day sorted out… wait a minute, I’m mom. Guess I’ll have to forward this post to himself. Keeping my fingers crossed.
haha, TP! Love that! You need to forward this post indeed! 😉

Those are gorgeous blooms! I absolutely loving giving flowers for Mother’s Day. Usually I would visit the flower market and make the arrangements myself. But FTD is a great service for the recipients that are at a distance!
These flowers are so pretty! I think I will do this for my mom!
I love the bouquet, it’s so pretty! I wish my mom was this easy to gift buy for…on top of being the pickiest person I know (LOL), unfortunately, she has really bad allergies and most flowers really bother her.
