Ever shopped online (ok, silly question) and then you notice that shortly after that online purchase you start receiving random paper catalogs from different companies at your residence? Well, its happened to me. All of a sudden I am receiving an entire assortment of catalogs that I never placed an order from…yet I seem to be a regular on their mail list.
Let’s “just say no” to unwanted catalogs, shall we?
I wonder how many other people are in the same situation? And if you multiple that by all the people who are receiving these unwanted catalogs we are looking at a LOT of wasted paper.
Save the trees! Look at the BENEFITS of opting out of catalogs!
Since I won’t ever be ordering from these random companies, I am THRILLED by a company that will do the breaking up of catalogs for you. A website endorsed by national media and consumer groups, called CatalogChoice.org will do all of the dirty work for you – with a simple click of your mouse online!
Once creating your account by a Facebook login or with an email address and password, you can enter your address, search for the unwanted catalog(s) and even phone books, and with one click, request to have delivery stopped. This is genius!
Save money, save trees, save a bulked up mailbox of unwanted junk!
There’s something silly about me – I love to look at catalogs. Haha. But, I don’t like the clutter and the killing of trees. I have downloaded CatalogSpree on my iPad, so I can look at catalogs until my hearts content. Plus I can e-subscribe! I wouldn’t mind though killing the subscriptions to the random window coverings one I get! Yuck!

Brilliant! Just say no! Thank you Glam Karen
