May I introduce you to someone you need to know: Jenn Liddiard of Scituate, MA.

Jenn started Joyo jewelry in 2012, but before that she made gemstone jewelry for many years, and worked as a freelance graphic designer. She learned about laser technology and realized how amazing that would be for turning her designs into jewelry. Jenn laser cuts everything herself, and does all of the design, sanding, oil finishing, and assembly by hand.

Inspriation?  From museums, architecture, history, and nature!  Jenn loves taking a natural material like wood, and transforming it into a unique, intricate, unexpected form.

Jenn said, “I have a habit of looking for patterns in ordinary places, like storm drains, sidewalk bricks, window grates, and fences–things that normally blend into our everyday surroundings. I like to find little bits of design that draw you in. That thinking also influences my jewelry–I like to make pieces that encourage people to look more closely.”

Quality materials and being kind to the environment are an integral part of Joyo.
