It’s Friday and you know what THAT means…. well, it means a LOT of things, but first on the agenda is WHERE to dine this weekend? No worries – I’ve got that covered if you live in the CLE.
Cleveland, Ohio is known for being a foodie town! And we continue to grow in that arena with more and more amazing restaurants with highly recognized and award-winning chefs. One of my favorite places to dine is the restaurant Flour. Here’s why…
As they say, when Chef Paul Minnillo combines his traditional Italian flavors with Chef Matt Mytro’s innovative culinary creations, magic happens. That is NO lie. Take a peek at the menu…and try to refrain from drooling if you can.
Admittedly a fan of olive oils, I am also a snob of olive oils. One of the many reasons I continue to visit Flour is their selection of amazing and unique olive oils for dipping. This Castelvetrano oil is beyond. I almost stuck a straw in the bottle and drank it all up – that is how fabulous it is! I am still on the hunt to find a bottle (or perhaps a case!) to have at home.
Love a GOOD salad? The freshness and authentic nature of every salad is remarkable. Just look at this Caesar Salad that I ordered. The flavors pop because its not drowning in some pre-made gloppy “Caesar” dressing. It is ALL fresh and homemade.
A “must-have” to order is a formaggi (cheese) board. Word on the streets is that they research the BEST cheeses and those are what get served. Every visit I get a new selection and every time I have been crazy impressed. The selection changes daily! What is also wonderful and helpful is that they present you a with fancy-schmancy paper listing the cheeses you were served. I often take this list with me to Heinens to purchase for wine and cheese nights at home.
Looks delicious! xx, Ada
