This past Saturday was AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. SO-MUCH-FUN! Know why? Once a month from April through September starting at 9:00am the city of Cleveland is ALIVE with a fabulous bustling! The Cleveland Flea wakes up the city (quite literally) and gets us into the CLE groove starting bright and early! A local street food festival, handmade goods/clothes/collectibles shopping experience all in Cleveland, Ohio!
Bragging Rights: The Cleveland Flea was JUST named 1 of 7 Flea Markets NOT to miss in 2015 by Country Living Magazine!
Starting off the Flea properly (aka with caffeine), I got a coffee at Nathan’s Coffee Roasting. Check out the photo above – He brews each cup individually out of a brewing contraption that he made out of repurposed wood. It’s caffeine perfection.
Luckily we had a super sunny day in Cleveland… we took a shadow selfie with my coffee!
Drum roll, please! Next to the vendors! Here is just a taste of what I got to experience at the Cleveland Flea! All local artists. Can’t beat that!
Food trucks graced the Cle Flea, but I was MUCH more interested in the clothing trucks! From The Wandering Wardrobe to our our Cleveland themed Fresh Brewed Tees, CLE knows how to keep us in style!
No brainer: Before leaving the Flea OF COURSE I am going to stop by the Team Sawyer booth to get some of nationally recognized chef Jonathon Sawyer‘s yummy treats! You probably recognize him from The Greenhouse Tavern, Noodle Kids and Trentina. Or perhaps you are obsessed with his AMAZING homemade, aged vinegar from Tavern Vinegar Co. Oh and he was also JUST on The Chew and was an Iron Chef! The “walking taco” featured at the Cleveland Flea was beyond. <insert drooling> A bowl of “taco” with Sawyer’s homemade “frito” style chips and more! We also took home some of Chef Sawyer’s handmade pasta! duh.
I already can.not.wait for the next Flea in May (May 9th, to be exact!) It will be JUST as fabulous and fun…and I am so excited to get back to support local artists and find some amazing new items to add to my decor and wardrobe!
Looks like you had a fabulously fun day!! Hubby and I LOVE the flea market that opens on weekends near us! They’ve got so many awesome local artists, soap makers, oil makers, clothing creators and more! It’s amazing what you’ll find at flea markets! Plus of course we adore the food vendors as well 😉 hahahah Great post!
Love it all! Its such a fun time!! 🙂
I absolutely LOVE flee markets…the hunt of a great find excites me! And some of the best food comes from food trucks!
Food trucks. Amazingness!!! nom-nom-nom…
I’ve never been to Cleveland but this looks amazing! I need to stay away from Flea Markets though, I always want to buy every single thing that I see!! Thanks for the post!
Flea markets are so dangerous to my wallet, too! Everything is so unique and fabulous…

Ooh…I am SO jealous right now!! That looks amazing…I love strolling through a good flea market and this one looks amazing! I’m loving those bracelets and the photo of those leather bags (my weak spot) made me want to reach through the screen and grab them all!!! lol So fun! I need to find something similar in CT/NY. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you :).
The bags are made by Flountleathergoods and I just might splurge and buy one next month. Been swooning over them for a long time…and they are based out of Cleveland!

SO happy that fellow Cleveland bloggers are going to the flea! I went last weekend for the first time and LOVED it! Definitely attending in May. Thanks for the info on Jonathon Sawyer, I will have to catch him next time.
Yay and mwah-mwah-mwah fellow CLE blogger! I will be back in May too, so if you see me say hi! It would be fun to connect! Also…when you see Chef Sawyer be sure to tell him Glam Karen sent you! 🙂

I would love to go to a good flea market! We don’t have anything like that where I live. I really like those knobs, the scarves and the bracelets.
