Sorry blenders and “meh” breakfast in bed. THIS gift guide is an upgrade for Mother’s Day gifts. Chic items to put a smile on her face are only a click away.
๐Here’s the thing. How do you find a gift for the person who…
- helped you through “mean girl” stuff in school…
- like when I got teased (often) for getting “too dressed up” for school. But know what? Shoes speak louder than words.
- taught you life skills (patiently) like how to boil water or swim or do long-division or shop the #NSale…
- Or made me take “typing” classes in middle school (which I haaaaated back then… but now that I can type a million words a minute I’m not angry anymore.)
- waited up until you were safely home (by curfew…hopefully…oopsies)…
- One time I got home at 4 am (a tad bit past my curfew) because my date and I fell asleep watching a movie. Sorry mom…
- helped teach me to not let the behavior or words of othes squish-squash my joy.
- When studying solar energy in middle school, I excitedly shared with the class how <oh-my-gosh> I have solar panels on my house! Instead of the science teacher sharing my joy, she instead announced to the class that I did NOT have solar panels on my house <insert eruption of giggling students>. Sigh… Well, we actually did (and still do) have solar panels (a full roof of them!) and my father is a mechanical engineer. So, there’s that. Embarrassing moment in class? Yes. My mom teaching me how to believe in myself when others (even those in higher roles/positions) did not? Mic drop.
Is a pot-holder really the best way to say thanks? We might want to rethink that plan. ahem…

When the kids were young and wanted to pick out something for Mother’s Day anything under 20.00 would be perfect. Some great options you have given all of us to choose from.
I love that they’re affordable and these gifts are something that moms can definitely use!
I just love these ideas! I told my family I’m good with chocolate. I do love that Cat Mom pillow. I have two kitties ๐ I could also go for that swan inflatable!
I really enjoyed reading this post. You put together a great list of gifts. I would love to receive any of the gifts.
I like all of these ideas that are out of the box. I totally miss my mother, and would love to have given her a few of these things. With that being said I’d love to gift myself the hand written bracelet with her handwriting.
This just makes me miss my mother even more, now tht she is not here. I loved your choices of gifts, the heart bracelet, palm tree and sunglasses are all presents I would love to get.
I can’t believe Mother’s Day is upon us again. Once again I’m still trying to find the perfect thing for the woman who has everything and would never ask for a thing.
You are totally speaking my language when it comes to price. As much as I love to get Mothers day I don’t want something that is going to cost a lot of money. There are a lot of great ideas here.
Great list! That balloon dog nightlight is adorable. I would so love to have this as a gift for Mother’s Day or well any other day. It’s just that cute.
All great suggestions. I am so not good at gift giving, so finding a guide like this is a great help.
That pink purse with the scalloped edges is just too adorable! Love that pop of color it can offer my otherwise, bland-colored outfits.
What great ideas for Mother’s Day gifts. I would enjoy receiving just about anything you chose. Hopefully my husband will read this ๐
The biggest lesson my mom taught me was to be contented. I’ve got a lot of pointers here on what to give my mom on mothers day. Thanks.
My Mom is thousands of miles away from the other side of the globe, I wish that I can be with her on MOther’s day. I send her cash gift everytime so she can buy whatever she like.
This list nails it all! My mother would love all of this stuff!
I am excited to see my mother this year for Mother’s day. It has been a few years since I got to enjoy the day with her.
I love all of those ideas. My mom would really appreciate that Intentions Capsule. It’s something that would be really special and meaningful to her. She always taught me that no matter what happens, it’s important to stay strong, stay positive, and keep looking forward.
All of these gift ideas are so pretty! How did you create the collage? So nice!
Mothers are amazing and I definitely miss mine. We lost her some years ago and although our relationship wasn’t perfect (I don’t think there’s such a thing), she would always be there to cheer me on. How I wish I could give her any of these gifts! So lovely choices, Karen!
LOVING that “Yay it’s you” welcome mat. It truly lives up to its name.
Appreciated and sympathized with some of your memories of mom. We never truly appreciate all they are do we?
Hope you have a lovely day with your loved ones on Mother’s Day. BB2U
