Happiness is handmade. And eco-friendly. And cruelty-free. And vegan. And American-made. And stylish/incredible/fabulous. Think about that. Being mindful to so many things in our day-to-day adventures. And by adventures, I mean shopping. Recently met an inspiring woman who creates these GORGEOUS (and beautifully scented) candles who embodies THE best way to be mindful of our resources with her business and in life.
Everyone can do simple things to make a difference, and every little bit does count. When you shop, support responsible, eco-friendly companies that are passionately committed to animal safety and the conservation of our earth.
The Ananda Soy Candle Company is a candle company that you will LOVE for about a mil reasons. They are Orlando’s (possibly Florida’s) first soy candle company to be certified green by Green America. They also are Orlando’s very first soy candle company to be verified as cruelty-free. They are part of PETA Beauty Without Bunnies program. (Can we pinkie-swear to please support companies that are cruelty-free? Be cool – not cruel.)
It’s all in the details. Ananda Soy Candles are eco-friendly, but so is their company and lifestyle:
- Only recycled or recyclable products used
- Office policies/ procedures include; reducing their daily use of paper, recycle everything possible
- Eco-fuel company car
- Soy wax is organically grown in the USA by American farmers
- No chemicals added to the ground for the production of their soy wax
- Refills of Ananda Soy Candle containers (for local customers) at a reduced cost and/or pours candles into heat safe used containers.
- Suppliers aren’t testing on animals and no third party testing or outsourcing.
- Suppliers are verified that THEY purchase from companies who do not test on animals (so it is a long line of cruelty free products…)
- Vegan products (meaning: no animal products are used in any of the ingredients purchased or used.)
- Candles are 100% made with materials sourced in the USA (including wicks, soy wax, essential oil infused fragrance oils, travel tins, glass containers, labels – EVERYTHING.)

I might be back home on this candle-making date! I only use soy, natural, cruelty-free candles, so this is perfect! Thanks, Beauty! 🙂
I love everything about this concept – the goodwill, the eco-friendly, the charity – all of it. I have never heard of them before, but they are officially on my radar and I’ll have to pick a few up! Thank you so much for sharing them! XO

My husband loves candles. He enjoys seeking out new brands. I’ve never heard of this one, so it’ll make a nice ‘just because’ gift for him.
I love how simple the the packaging of the candles yet elegant, and also the fact that it’s eco friendly, and the profit goes for a charity. Your last words “Buy Less…Choose Well…And make it last!” ended perfectly your review.
This is perfect for those who are conscious of their impact on the environment. I like that they even have an eco friendly car.
