Why is it that if you receive 100 compliments in a day and 1 critique that you hang onto that negativity? All of the great things that day fly out the window…and you are left with one nagging, awful feeling. Why?

That’s a very good way of looking at it. I think a lot of the advice is that if someone criticizes you, just ignore it, their problem. But a lot of times they are trying to help you and your ego can prevent your from learning a valuable lesson. 🙂

I like the idea of writing down the negative comment in your own words-I think I’m gonna have to try that!
